The leader in music streaming, Spotify, has introduced the “New Year’s Hub” — a one hub, where users can get vintage party playlists and exclusive takeovers from well-known musicians.

There were also a few unique songs from a variety of mainstream performers, including Charli XCX and Celine Dion. In order to publicise the upcoming New Year’s special feature, Spotify used its official blog.

As of January 1, 2023, users will find content to assist them in making resolutions on the application’s home page, according to a blog post published by Spotify on Thursday.

“Whether you want a low-key night or a heart-pounding dancefest, we have you set with featured playlists to match the vibe you’re channeling,” it said.

Between December 25, 2021, and January 31, 2022, about 82,000 New Year’s Eve playlists were made; on New Year’s Eve itself, almost 40,000 playlists were made.

It was revealed last week that the leading music streaming service was developing a new feature that would link its iOS app with HealthKit and offer consumers workout playlists based on their health information.

This would give the platform access to data about the user’s daily exercise duration, calorie burn rate, and other things.

According to a claim by the US-based tech website TechCrunch, this content would probably include tracks for exercise and meditation. Earlier, the streaming service made the decision to stop making certain of its audio programmes.
